SearchMasters SEO Guru Michael Brandon was an early challenger with this domain:
  • nzseochallenge.co.nz - first day of competition 19 August 2010
  • 31 August 2010 and QuadraCentifiable is the phrase that we compete with
  • 1 September - SearchMasters.co.nz ranks top with an article about the event
  • 5 September - NZSEOChallenge homepage is recached to include the search phrases and ranks third.
  • 5 September - a competitor removes their site from the competition
  • 9 September - 28 November... - this NZSEOChallenge site has ranked top for the phrase for the majority of the competition.
  • Haiming's SEOChallenger is challenging me for top. I initially trained Haiming, and he is going from strength to strength. A worthy competitor and a good SEO service provider.
  • WE HAVE WON THE COMPETITION - NZSEOChallenge.co.nz RANKED TOP ON 28 NOVEMBER 2010 5PM.


Strategy:
  • Ever increasing inbound links - There was 12 days from announcement of the competition to when the search phrase was announced. When linking, it is better to go slow and ever increasing, so a 12 day period gave time for a larger foundation of links to be built, meaning at the 12 day mark I was already racing and could add more incoming links than someone that started later.

  • Who would be ranked top on the first day - Since my homepage had already been cached, Google took some time to recache the homepage. So others ranked ahead of me at the start of the competition with their new domains until my homepage was recached (Google caches uncached pages faster than recaching old pages). Since then, I have remained at the top.
  • Links links and more links. And at the top I have stayed.
  • Haiming's 2nd placed SEOChallenger.co.nz has given it a good shot, and has made sure I have continued to research and test ever increasingly better methods of linking for the length of the competition. Well done Haiming.



When I got top 10 for one of the first SEO Competitions Nigritude Ultramarine in 2004, I used my Time2Dine website as an entry. So keeping with the foodie theme is another definition of Quadra Centifiable
  • Don't eat another item of food till you are sure its Quadra Centi fiable. 4 tests that it must pass including being fun, fatty, fricken nice, and fearless. Just have it in moderation. Why live life full of fear, feel the fear and do it anyway. Enough of this PC mumbo jumbo.


Four times 100 qualified QuadraCentifiable. I have been top ten in one of the worlds first SEO competitions Nigritude Ultramarine and I was number one for this competition.



On the morning of the phrase being announced 31 August 2010, Google sees no results for QuadraCentifiable, and no suggestions.

"Your search - QuadraCentifiable - did not match any documents."

The canvas was blank for us to create our own destiny.
